May: Empowerment and Self-Defense Workshop Series

– Objective: Empower women with self-defense skills and promote a sense of strength and confidence.

– Activities: Self-defense classes, mental health sessions, and discussions on empowering women.

August: Healing and Counseling Retreat

– Objective: Provide a safe and supportive space for survivors to heal emotionally and mentally.

– Activities: Group counseling, art therapy, mindfulness sessions, and peer support activities.

November: Community Engagement and Education Fair

– Objective: Educate communities about gender-based violence and foster community support.

– Activities: Information booths, interactive workshops, educational games, and testimonies from survivors.

These events aim to create a holistic approach, addressing prevention, empowerment, healing, and community involvement in the fight against gender-based violence in South Africa.
