Open Door Crisis Care Centre HIV/AIDS Policy


The Open Door Crisis Care Centre (ODCCC) is committed to addressing the intersection of HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence (GBV) within South Africa, with a specific focus on empowering women. This policy outlines the strategies and guidelines that ODCCC will implement to reduce the impact of HIV/AIDS on survivors of gender-based violence and affected communities.

  1. Objectives:
    a. Raise awareness about the link between HIV/AIDS and GBV.
    b. Provide education and prevention initiatives targeting both HIV/AIDS and GBV.
    c. Offer support services and referrals to HIV testing, treatment, and care for survivors of GBV.
